LOVES PARK, Ill., June 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Crunchmaster®, America's #1 selling brand of gluten free crackers, is proud to announce its new line of kid-friendly snack crisps. The new snacks – Cheddar Cheezy Crisps and Cinnamon & Sugar Grammy Crisps – will be showcased at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) 2012 Summer Fancy Food Show June 17-19 in Washington, D.C.
Both items are made with 100% whole grains and are certified gluten and peanut free. In addition, they contain 50% less fat than regular cheese and graham cracker snacks, making them a perfect fit for parents that are looking for more nutritious, healthier options for school lunches and afternoon or evening snacks.
"We've been researching ways that we can assist in the fight against childhood obesity and felt the timing was right to launch a new product line that would appeal not only to kids, but also serve as a tasty, better-for-you snack that the entire family could enjoy," said Jim Garsow, Director of Marketing for the Crunchmaster brand.
Crunchmaster Crisps are packaged in a foil bag in a box to maintain quality and freshness and have a suggested retail price of $2.48. They will be available for shipment to supermarkets and club stores nationwide starting in August.
All Crunchmaster products are manufactured in the U.S. by TH Foods and certified gluten free by the Gluten Free Certification Organization (GFCO). Visitors to the Summer Fancy Food show are invited to stop by booth #1905 to try these new crisps and also sample the full line of best-selling Crunchmaster crackers.
