The Peanut Roaster Announces Three New Flavors at the 2012 Summer Fancy Foods Show!

Introducing Three New Flavors to the Peanut Roasters selection: Sweet Maui Onion, Dill Pickle andBacon Ranch!

Sweet Maui Onion Peanuts

Fresh Hawaiian Orchids, heavenly beaches and warm Pacific waters are all things that come to mind with Maui. Another island favorite is the Sweet Maui Onion. We have taken this flavor and added it to our crunchy golden peanuts for an authentic Hawaiian treat.

Dill Pickle Peanuts

Delicious Creamy Dill flavor, packing a Salty Vinegar punch, with a hint of Garlic, these unique peanuts are sure to add zip to snack time.

Bacon Ranch Peanuts

Two great flavors…Smokey Bacon and Ranch. We sprinkled this winning combination on the crunchiest, tastiest peanuts on the planet and created a snack that’s unbeatable! Go ahead and Pig Out!

In addition to the new products, attendees will have the opportunity to see the No. 13 Hot Honeys NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Toyota Tundra, Winner of the June 8th Race at Texas Motor Speedway. Sauter pulled into Victory Lane sporting the Hot Honeys Honey Roasted Chipotle Peanuts as primary sponsor of his truck for the 2012 season.

Free samples of the honey roasted chipotle peanuts will be handed out by the “Hot Honey” girls in The Peanut Roaster Booth #5558.

About The Peanut Roaster
The Peanut Roaster was started by Larry Monahan Sr., considered a pioneer in the development of frying water-blanched peanuts in the 1940s. In 1949, he began roasting and selling peanuts to passing tourists from his family-owned restaurant, and a beloved brand was born. Today, the peanut tradition continues with president and son, John S. Monahan - using the same recipes developed by his father in the late Forties. Our peanuts are enjoyed in all 50 states and many foreign countries, and we continue to innovate in the 21st Century with new brands, processes and partnerships to bring the best quality peanuts to our customers.

Product mix covers a relative broad range of specialty nuts and salty snacks. However, our core products are based on peanuts. We primarily focus on the specialty nutsegment although we also sell to the broader market. Approximately 65% of our business is private labeled.
