Thomson Expands Presence at IFA 2012 in Four Booths

Virtual Press Office) - With the power of a dozen of license partners Thomson marks its second year at IFA, reflecting the growth of the Thomson brand in the market.
At the booth in hall 21E the full range CE products will be on display. One of the highlights will be the “Box”, Thomson’s new home automation system. It checks security installations, allows access control, steers lighting and heating systems and manages energy consumption. Home owners can remotely control via PC, tablet or smart phone their entire home system. Other product heroes include the newest smart TV configuration in 2D and 3D models and audio products like the Bluetooth iPhone tower and a sound bar stereo system. Thomson’s entry in the mobile phone market features GSM phones, with an Android 4.0 smart phone, featuring a giant 5.3 inch screen and two SIM slots. Also new is a range of digital still cameras and camcorders with features like water and shock protection. Various satellite receivers and accessories like high quality headphones will be displayed.
A second booth in hall 8.1 stand 114 will feature Thomson small home appliances. The range of IFA premiering innovative product ideas include a stand mixer, food processor, ceramic glass cooker and heating blender, all carrying the prestigious logo as “FFC official product”. This designates these Thomson products, developed by the French company Sopadis, as backed by the cooking authority of the country which is most famous for good food, and food preparation – France.
In addition to the joint brand presentation in hall 21E Thomson will present the full range of smart TV sets in two new product lines for 2D and 3D with NetRange portal technology at booth104 hall 21 (TCL/Thomson) and all audio-video accessories at booth 101 hall 10.2 (Hama/Thomson).
