Gefen’s New 3GSDI Audio Embedder and 3GSDI Audio DeEmbedder Allow Audio Editing on Any 3GSDI Signal Stream
Amsterdam, NL Stand 7.B30 - (Virtual Press Office) – Digital connectivity solutions provider Gefen brings its new GefenPRO 3GSDI Audio Embedder and the GefenPRO 3GSDI Audio DeEmbedder to IBC this year. Both work with broadcast
equipment using 3GSDI and audio devices such as amplifiers. Both products offer audio delay adjustments for the selected audio stream to synchronize audio and video for a superior performance. Individual audio
channels can be selected then rearranged on the output for added flexibility.

The 3GSDI Audio Embedder can select one of four independent AES/EBU digital audio streams and implant it into the 3GSDI output. The 3GSDI Audio DeEmbedder can extract audio from a 3GSDI source and output it as one of four digital AES/EBU audio streams. Both the 3GSDI Audio Embedder and the 3GSDI Audio DeEmbedder come with RS-232 ports for control, upgrades and to provide an easy method of selecting and routing audio. Each model offers loop-out connectivity for a monitoring display. Both products work with SDI formats including SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI. As GefenPRO products, both come with 24/7 technical support.
