Allied Telesis @ IBC

Allied Telesis attends the International Broadcasting Convention 2012

Amsterdam, Netherlands, 31st August 2012 (Virtual Press Office) – Being 25 years old in the ICT industry is a great achievement in itself. It has meant being able to support our customers' business and operations since the beginning of the Local Area Networking era. It confirms our position as being a reliable partner for growth and continuity.

Over the years our effort has been to make life easier for enterprises and service providers to focus on their business, by shielding them from the complexities of networking equipment by providing them with highly resilient network infrastructure that is easy to design, maintain and use.

According to Sir Winston Churchill "All great things are simple" so, why should networking be complex?

Allied Telesis will attending IBC - the premier worldwide annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of entertainment and news content, where we will be demonstrating that great networks for professional multimedia applications can be simple too. IBC is held - from 7th to 11th September 2012 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands..

During the exhibition we will be showing the key features of our solutions designed to support every phase of multimedia content creation to delivery. Our technology and solutions enables both the manipulation of digital audio and video content, through to the delivery to homes over multi gigabit fiber and copper networks. Demonstrations will include:

• High Availability with Easy Resiliency architecture
• Global IP and Ethernet Interoperability
• Low Latency and High Performances
• Scalable solution for any network size
• Optimization for 3-Play applications

Allied Telesis is on the cutting edge with its networks designed for 3D applications. The Active-Active resilient architecture ensures no waste equipment and energy, no stand-by parts and no complexity at all to networks of any size, plus a strong reduction of TCO and award winning Green technology.

At the same time this convention will be an opportunity for us to present the new "Designed for IP video" program.

Furthermore, a charity initiative will be held during the convention at our stand in collaboration with the Italian Red Cross, in favor of the reconstruction of the Emilia-Romagna region (ITA), recently struck by an earthquake.

Over the past 25 years, our network has provided our customers with solutions to their needs. Our next generation of solutions and products will ensure that we continue to meet our customers' expectations.
