Ottawa, Ontario, September 13, 2012 – JGR Optics Inc. announced today that its BR5 Backreflection Meter, MBR5 Multi-Output Backreflection Meter, SX4 Benchtop and SX8 Rackmount Optical Switches are now all fully compatible with HI1060 5/125 μm Flexcore fiber.

With this addition, BR5 and MBR5 Backreflection Meters will precisely and accurately measure IL and RL of components and cable assemblies made of HI1060 Flexcore fiber. Automated test systems can also be implemented with the addition of the new HI1060 compatible SX4 or SX8 optical switches.
