Basque Audiovisual brings to Cannes its innovative proposal for producing pilot programmes

(Virtual Press Office) The Basque Audiovisual stand, set up by Eiken – Basque Audiovisual Cluster and the Basque Government’s Etxepare Institute, will act as a showcase for Innova Basque Audiovisual on the international scene. It is a strategy proposal which involves the production of four pilot programmes with the aid of novel collaboration between the private and public sectors. The four programmes, which have already been aired or are scheduled for airing on Basque public television, Euskal Telebista, comprise a talent show ("Mom, vote 4 me!", from Pausoka), a coaching programme ("Consejo de Sabios" [Committee of the wise], also from Pausoka) and two competition programmes ("¿Tu o yo?" [You or me?], from 3koma and "¿A quién señalas con el dedo?" [Who are you pointing the finger at?], from Bainet).

In addition, Basque Audiovisual will present the latest developments in the Basque audiovisual industry, with the presence of eleven companies, apart from ETB, from the country: Pausoka, Expressive, Baleuko, T-Forma, Mediatag Crossmedia, Lumiere Produkzioak, Dibulitoon Studio, Somuga, Near, Mediabask and Basque Stream.
