Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop Seal A Deal with ARD Germany for The
Second Series of the Geronimo Stilton Animated Series

(Milan, Italy) (Paris, France) (October 2, 2012) (Virtual Press Office) —Co-production and distribution partners Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop have secured a deal to bring Geronimo Stilton animated series to leading German broadcaster ARD. The agreement sees ARD picking-up the second season of the animated series along with its regional broadcast stations, to include KIKA. ARD will commence airing Season 2 in November 2012 on KIKA with the regional channels starting in July 2013.

Inspired by the popular book series of the same name, the animated series "Geronimo Stilton" focuses on the life and adventures of the super famous mouse journalist. He is also the head of the Geronimo Stilton Media Group, a media group that controls a television channel, a newspaper (The Rodent Gazette, the most famous daily paper on Mouse Island) and even a blog.
The second series sees the friends travel the world and go on exciting adventures with Benjamin and Pandora leading the way through the most dangerous actions alongside Geronimo. The second season features new locations and Professor Von Volt's surprise, the latest invention: the Metamouse, a transformable vehicle that can go anywhere, anytime and helps the friends unearth the most fantastic scoops in Mouse City and around the world.
Co-produced by Atlantyca and Moonscoop, the series centers on the life and adventures of the famous Geronimo Stilton - head of a veritable media empire, erudite mouse, and klutz extraordinaire.
