New Thriller from BMW

Debuts at MIPCOM

            Los Angeles – (Virtual Press Office) -- A taut new thriller from a promising first-time director Jim Towns headlines the new independent film fare BoPaul Media Worldwide will introduce at MIPCOM (Oct. 8-11, Cannes, France). 

            "House of Bad" features three talented young actresses in electrifying roles. Heather L. Tyler ("Finding Focus", "Nerve"), Said Katz ("Scorned", "Nipples & Palm Trees"), and Cheryl Sands ("Lake Death", "Nip 'n Tuck" TV series) are caught in an ever-escalating series of terrifying encounters and dark scenarios when, on the run with stolen drugs, they return to the home inhabited by departed, strange parents.

            Supporting the stellar cast are director Jim Towns ("Stiff", "Prometheus Triumphant"), producer/co-writer Scott Frazelle ("Creepshow III", "Swingtown"), and composer Terry Huud ("Civic Duty", "Children of the Corn: Isaac's Return"). 

            The film, shot in 1080p HD, wrapped post-production in September.

            Also debuting at MIPCOM will be the 200-title Jose Frade Productions catalog of outstanding Spanish theatrical films, including "Blood and Sand", starring Sharon Stone in a pre-"Basic Instinct" appearance.
